We have already started a new school year, in our case it will be the last year in the secondary school, it will be really difficult, but we need to make an effort and finish well our studies at the secondary school. Last year was a bad and difficult year because of coronavirus, and we went through a lot of difficult situations, but we could cope with them, so I reckon that this year could be better than last year, so we can defeat the pandemia this year. 

Nowadays, we see a lot of bad news on television that make our excitement fade away, for example we usually see on television all the bad news about Covid-19 and that there are still so many cases in Spain and there are people that die diary ans that they leave all their dreams, illussions and their family and friends behind in the world. That is really sad because these people that die should have had the same opportunities as the people that continue alive and they had dreams and some goals in their lives. But that's not all, now we have natural disasters.

To all the problems we already had, we must add the volcano in Las Palmas, a volcano that started to erupt three weeks ago and that is still erupting and whose rivers of lava are destroying all the houses and constructions that were on the sides of the volcano, so there are too many people that have lost their houses and must have been evacuated because they can't be there because of the lava. The volcano are also emiting poisonous gas that could affect the health of the people who breathe it, so it is very dangerous.

Finally, I think that we are living a really bad situation, but we can't do anything to solve this bad situation because it is a natural disaster, and we only can wait until the volcano stops its eruption and the governement will have to find a solution for all these people that are losing their houses and some are also losing their fields and jobs, because they worked in the fields.

We are already in September and, bit by bit, the summer holidays are arriving at their end, we only have a few days until we return to our studies and routine, although nobody wants to return and everybody wants to be on holidays for ever. But although these are our last days before our return to the routine, we still should do something related with our subject, for example comments, and we should also revise what our teacher taught us last year, especially in languages, so we must revise English, reading, writing and listening so much.

During the summer we should have also done some work related to the secondary school, but we also did a lot of other entertaining things, although this summer there were still a lot of cases of covid-19, we have had more freedom than last year, so we could do a lot of more things like going to parties, travelling around Spain or visiting our relatives that live far away from us. In my case I travelled not much, I only went to Malaga to spend a few days there with my cousins. There we visited some places in Malaga, we visited Picasso Museum, it was really interesting to see all these works and we also went to "El Caminito del Rey", where we spent 4-5 hours walking and watching all the nature.

On the one hand, we want to return to the secondary school and meet all our friends and teachers daily, and spend a very good time with them, but on the other hand we prefer to go on with our holidays relaxed without doing anything in our houses, so I think that is difficult to say if we really want to return to the secondary school or if we prefer stay in holidays. Everybody is very calm and relaxed during the holidays.

Finally, I reckon that the holidays need an end, because if we were on holidays for ever, it would lose the importance and we don't think that the holidays are really enjoyable and in my opinion it would be really boring and tiring, because we wouldn't have anything to do and we would get bored.

Super-Tramp living his American dream

A tramp is a person who travels from place to place on foot in search of work, it can also be synonym of vagrant or beggar, so a tramp is a homeless person. In this case they are talking about a dog and they say that the dog is a tramp, a dog without an owner that lives in the streets, some of these dogs are rescued by pet shelters, where the vagrant animals can live a "good" life while they wait to be adopted by an adoptive family.

Nowadays there are a lot of people who don't have enough money to pay all the bils and bit by bit they owe a lot of money to the bank, if they have asked for a loan, or to a company, so they take off everything that he has, between them they take off his home. This person must live in the street because he doesn't have anything, we call them as I said before vagrant or tramp. Some of them ask for money in the streets and other try to find a job to earn some money.

And if we are talking about tramp as animals we can also see in the streets a lot of animals that their owner abandon them there, we can see dogs, cats or other domestic animals. I reckon that it is very bad for the part of the owner because if you have an animal you must be responsible enough to take care of it and not to abandon it. There are a lot of people that buy a little pet for their children and at first they take care of it, but when the pet grows and the children don't want to take care of it, they abandon it as if it were an object or toy.

Finally, in my opinion, the most popular tramp is Golfo, the dog of the Disney film "Lady and the Tramp" because almost everybody knows him. When I was younger, it was one of my favourite films and I saw it a lot of times. A few years ago they made a live action of this film and they chase a real tramp to make the role of Golfo and I think that this is really good because by this way they could make that some families, that wanted a dog, adopted it instead of buying it.  

Rowing, handball, waterpolo, football... medals for Spain at the Olympics!!!

This year we have had the Tokio 2020 Olympic games, the Olympics that we should have seen last year, but that weren't held because of Covid19 and after a year waiting we could see them. This year I had a lot of excitement because I really wanted to see our Spanish teams playing and, of course, winning against other countries teams. In these Olympics Games we had won some medals, but they are never enough, we always want more and more medals for our country.

Spain has won 17 medals in total, 3 gold medals, 8 silver medals and 6 bronze medals, of course there are a lot of countries that won many more medals than Spain, but we can be really proud of the participation of our country in these Olympic games. I watched a lot of matches of this games, for example I watched some Spain's handball matches and other sports. But the sport that I really watched almost all the matches of the Spanish team is basketball, they played really well but they finally losed against the United States in quarter finals. What a shame, if they had won this match, I would have been really happy.

Now we can see the Paralympic games that they are celebrated until 5th September, normally people give less importance to these games than the Olympics games, but they have the same importance because they are also competing against all the world and if they win they will be the best in the world in this sport discipline. In these games Spain has already won 13 medals in total, they have won already 4 gold medals and they still have time to get more.

In my opinion, the Olympic games and the Paralympic games are a really interesting and important competitions, because athletes are training a lot of time to win the competition and be the best in the world in their sport. I reckon that they deserve a lot of respect because there are a lot of people that devote their lives to be the best in the world.

Princesses evolving

Now we can see an evolution in princesses, not only in the real ones, who have changed a lot, but also we can see this evolution in imaginary princesses, like the Disney's princesses that they have also have changed a lot because before all the Disney's princesses were like a prototype of a beautiful woman that was waiting at home until his beloved arrived to search her. But now Disney has changed this perspective and now the new imaginary princesses live through a normal life and they can also go on a big adventure around the world.

As I have said before, the real princesses have changed a lot, because before they used to wear big dresses and they spent all their lives in their father's castle until they married with a prince and then they went into their husband's castle. And now they live more normal lives, because now they wear more "normal" clothes than before and they also go to schools to learn like ordinary children. Now they don't need any husband at all because they can live their lives without marrying anyone.

Also the imaginary princesses have a different life, I think that this change has been produced of all the changes that we have gone throughin the latest years, and for the change in the way of life of all the women, now almost everybody considers that women are the same as men. For these reasons we can see Disney princesses that go on an adventure like Mulan or Merida, the protagonist of Brave, princesses that in the past would see like a bad example of a princess and these films wouldn't be produced.

Finally, in my opinion, all these changes are really good for all of us because we need to realise that all of us are the same and that we have the right to live our life as we want, altought we are ordinary people or very important people like princesses or famous people like actors or athletes.

Today I don't feel like doing anything!!!

All years we have more than two months of vacations, and all we know that vacations are a time to rest, we spend all the year studying and making all the effort that we can to have the best marks that we can have, so after lot of time making effort, we only want to rest and not to do anything most of our holidays, but we need to continue doing some activities, like writing comments or reading the English textbooks and revising something of some subjects.

We spend the holidays resting, and enjoying different activities, we go to the beach, or we gather with our family, with our cousins, our uncles and our aunts and we spend a wonderful time talking with each other. Now, the people who have a country house, go to it with other people and usually organise a meal and spend all day there or even some weeks, I think that it is a very good idea because in the country house there is less noise and you can stay more relaxed and peaceful.

But not all is rest, because there are also people who have to work during holidays or people that have only one or two weeks of holidays and they must go to work again so they don't have enough time to feel like doing anything, because they want to spend the holidays in the best possible way and they go to different places or to hotels to visit some different cities or countries. But we have enough time of holidays to feel like doing anything, and I don't like it.

In conclusion we should spend the holidays resting because they are for this, to rest and get away of all the work that we do during all the year and to enjoy with our relatives and friends doing different activities, but we must also do something related with the high school or with some subjects that we have, to not feel like doing anything.

Nowadays we have a very big problem, that a lot of people don´t realise its importance, and it´s climate change. It happens because we use energies that are not renewable, like atomic energy, or we use energy that comes from coal or petrol and all these types of energy produce a lot of pollution that stay in the atmosphere and that can provoke many problems, among them the climate change.

Although we know all the problems that it can produce, why are we still using all this energies that aren't renewable? Well, I don't really know why, but I think that we are still using petrol and this types of energies because this produces a lot of money to our goverment, and if we start to use renewable energies, they will lose all the money that they earn from this. They only think in their own good, they don´t think either about their own children or grandchildren.

Besides we have the renewable energies that are good for our planet, because it produces less pollution than the other energies, these energies can be solar energy, wind energy... And there are places like Andalucia in Spain that would produce a lot of solar energy because in that place there are a lot of hours of sun, but they don´t produce any of energy because the goverment doesn´t build solar panels, so we lose a lot of renewable energy.

In conclusion, we must use only renewable energies to protect our planet and stop using others energies, for example, we must start to use electric cars and leave petrol cars, but the main problem is that electric car is really expensive, so not all the people can buy electric cars. And we must start to build more solar panels, although the goverment doesn't like this idea because they can lose a lot of money if all of us have solar panels.
